Equipping a generation that says: "I MUST"
The heart of Kid’s Church is to so affect a generation of children that it is the fruit of their life that is their testimony, and not that they had to build one. We believe God’s desire is to equip, empower, and release His children at a young age to fulfill their purpose, enabling them to be at the forefront of a radical movement that will ignite a passionate hunger for God’s holy presence.
Children today are facing brutal issues in their lives that we as adults never had to face. Our desire, thru the release of God's power, is to authorize children to say “I Must" to His destiny for their lives. One that equips, empowers, and releases them to become mighty warriors ready for battle.
Family Worship:
Worship is a family event at Grace North. Children of all ages are included and encouraged to participate in our worship service. Children love to sing, dance and pray. Given the opportunity and expectations that they too can worship, children quickly join their parent (s) with the same enthusiasm they see.
Children are hungry for the presence of the Lord. Through worship we are providing our children an opportunity to experience His holy presence. All children in first through sixth grades worship in the main auditorium with their families, and are dismissed to Kid’s Church when family worship time is concluded.
We strongly encourage all children to worship with their parents! If your child wishes to join the children worshipping at the front near the stage, we ask that you move to the front as well so you can be with them.
Daily Prayer & Bible Reading:
At Grace North, all ages pray and read their Bibles everyday! It is our belief that even the very young will benefit greatly from this life changing commitment. We ask that parents provide their children with a child friendly version of the Bible, and encourage them to read it daily. Age appropriate reading plans are available at Kid’s Church.
Prayer is an important part of intimacy with God, and we encourage every child to pray out loud daily. Speaking to and hearing from God are two amazing ways to build relationship with Him!

Journaling:
Kids in 1st – 6th grade are highly encouraged to journal about their daily time of prayer and Bible reading. Through the “Come, Hear, Do” method, children learn to “Come” to God’s word, “Hear” what He’s speaking to them, and “Do” as He says. The specially designed, age appropriate journal pages are available to your child at no cost. Just ask the Kids church staff!
